Revolut Tightens Its Brand — and Its Defenses

Revolut Tightens Its Brand — and Its Defenses Jan/16/2026

Revolut has moved on two fronts at once, pairing legal vigilance with technological escalation. On January 15, the fintech sought more time to oppose a trademark filing by Readdle Technologies, arguing that an almost identical 'R' logo risks confusion across overlapping software categories that range from document management and email organization to workflow automation. The dispute underscores how fiercely Revolut guards its visual identity as it broadens its digital footprint. At the same time, the company unveiled an in-app call identification feature designed to counter a surge in AI-driven impersonation scams, warning users in real time if a caller is posing as a Revolut agent. With deepfake voices fooling most listeners, Revolut is leaning on machine learning, biometrics, and contextual alerts to close what it calls a critical security gap.
