Verizon Revamps Brand with New Logo and Home Internet Plans

Verizon Revamps Brand with New Logo and Home Internet Plans Jun/28/2024

Verizon has revamped its brand, replacing its iconic checkmark logo with a bold red and yellow "V" and reintroducing the memorable "Can you hear me now?" tagline in a fresh commercial. Alongside this visual overhaul, the telecom giant unveiled new home internet plans dubbed "myHome," which bundle services like Disney Plus, Netflix, cloud storage, and Walmart Plus subscriptions. In the new ad campaign, the tagline evolves to encompass streaming, TikToks, gaming, and FaceTiming, underscoring Verizon's modern connectivity capabilities compared to its 2002 roots. The company, targeting both 5G and LTE fixed wireless plans, offers starting rates at $35.99 per month with phone plans and autopay, promising speeds up to 300Mbps or more. Additionally, the MyHome plans feature services priced at $10 per month, aligning with Verizon's myPlan offerings. The revamped branding, designed by Turner Duckworth, aims to enhance Verizon's market momentum and will be phased across all marketing channels and retail points. CEO Hans Vestberg emphasized the brand's commitment to innovation and customer connection, signifying a continued journey of service excellence. The new campaign, reminiscent of Verizon's past successful slogans, seeks to attract interest in products like the MyHome plan, a revamped phone trade-in program, and the Verizon Access platform offering exclusive perks and pre-sales. This brand refresh follows the appointment of new CMO Leslie Berland, formerly of Peloton. To visually demonstrate the transformation, the visualization below shows a comparison of the old and new Verizon logos, along with detailed information about the new Verizon trademarks filed on June 25.
