On June 29, Walmart Apollo filed a new U.S. trademark application for 'HYPER TOUGH', extending the brand into powered lawn and garden equipment, including backpack sprayers, mechanical spreaders, and electric edgers. The filing complements Walmart’s broader strategy of reinforcing its private-label portfolio as the retailer intensifies its value proposition. At the same time, Walmart and Sam’s Club introduced thousands of price reductions across groceries, household essentials, outdoor living products, toys, and apparel, responding to persistent inflation and cautious consumer spending.
