TikTok is broadening its role beyond social media by filing a U.S. trademark application for TIKTOK REAL, a platform designed to help brand owners combat counterfeiting, manage trademark authorizations, monitor online marketplaces, and support intellectual property enforcement through software and consulting services. The filing reflects the company's growing investment in marketplace integrity at a time when millions of businesses increasingly rely on the platform for commerce. Complementing this strategy, TikTok has launched its Discover America tour, a six-city initiative celebrating the United States' 250th anniversary while encouraging creators and entrepreneurs to strengthen their digital presence. Highlighting that more than 8.5 million U.S. businesses and over 200 million Americans use the platform, the campaign underscores TikTok's ambition to position itself as both a trusted commercial ecosystem and a catalyst for local economic growth.
