Kraft Heinz Wins Domain Dispute Over 'SURE-JELL' Trademark Infringement Feb/20/2025

The Kraft Heinz Company has successfully reclaimed the domain thesurejell.com after a WIPO panel ruled in its favor, concluding that the site was registered and used in bad faith. The domain was found to be similar to Kraft Heinz’s SURE-JELL trademark, a brand it has owned since 1961 for its well-known line of jams and jellies. Initially, the disputed domain hosted a website falsely purporting to sell SURE-JELL products while reproducing the company’s logo, before later being converted into a pay-per-click ad site. The panel determined that the registrant had no legitimate rights to the name and was intentionally diverting consumers for commercial gain. As a result, WIPO has ordered the domain to be transferred to Kraft Heinz.
